I'm kind of sad that I am at work and don't have sound, but kind of relieved, because I can just imagine them going "DURR DURR DURRRRR" whenever they open their mouths. I'm pretty sure that's what it would translate into anyway.

Thanksgiving up here. We ate turkey and talked politics. When I described the behavior of some of these Republican supporters at recent televised events in the midwest, everyone around the table acted like I was exaggerating.

(Also - despite the debunking of the turkey/tryptophan thing, the urge to nap gets me every time! Damn, I just woke up!)

I swear, if McCain and Palin win, I'll be one of those guys who says he's going to move to Canada but never does.

But you know, it just goes to show--people are going to be as backwards as you let them, and we NEED someone to drag these nutters into at least the 1960's.....

I think I am going to choose to believe that these are just a few nuts that get showcased but are really a very small freaky minority that is too stupid to find there way to the polls.

And after the election they should probably all be shipped to Alaska where they can join Palin + hubby as they secede from the nation, saw off Alaska, and wander the Russian hinterlands in search of a brain--just one between them all would be a fair start.
