That's funny, I had just finished reading the last of the Resident Evil walkthroughs at the Let's Play Archive.

Your list is spot on, though I do hope that maybe, just maybe Resident Evil 5 can transform him from a goofball villain to a somewhat threatening presence.

As for Resident Evil 4...I guess with the lack of monsters jumping through glass, Leon took the duty on himself and jumped through just about every window he could find. Even if it was at the top of a three story home.

Just the same coincidence - I'm rereading the RE Let's Plays as well, and this fits in excellently.

Bang on about Wesker. They keep insisting that the guy is a T-Virus-Machiavelli (to the point of giving him a bonus DVD to insist he's a badass in) despite having, at the last count, used a New York's worth of zombies to achieve zero.

i shamelessly picked up most of the ridiculous shit about RE from the let's play threads. you really have no idea how retarded things are until someone points them out so specifically.

Yeah, you could sort of tell by the leech-fixation.

Still, you did a good job using them as resources but still writing the list in your own words: it's hard to read something so funny, then come up with your own funny after the fact. Nice one.

That was really funny - especially the leech bit. Never played Zero, but I can just picture some guy in the pre-production bullpen writing "LEECHES" in huge letters on the whiteboard and waiting expectantly for the ensuing gasps of approval.

What actually followed were dubious looks from around the table, but frankly everyone was too hungover to argue, so they just went with it. For the next six months, the level designers would come in every morning to find post-it notes on their monitors reading "NEEDS MORE LEECHES!".

Leech-guy is probably working in Hollywood now, with a six-figure development deal in the works.
